createQuote

Creates an empty quote in state draft for the given customer and sales channel. Everything else is derived: the quote number from the quote number range, the currency and its rounding and the tax handling from the sales channel, and the shipping and payment method from the sales channel defaults — each recorded as a snapshot on the quote. The result carries no line items and a total of zero, so it is not yet something to send to a customer; add line items and prices before doing so. Requires quotes to be enabled for the shop; the mutation fails with FORBIDDEN otherwise.

The token needs the quotes:write access scope.

Quote object​

A sales quotation prepared for a customer: priced line items, a validity date and its own state machine. Becomes an order once the customer accepts it, at which point orderId points at the resulting order.
