Shopify IDs
Pickware keeps its own records for the objects it syncs with Shopify, and every record has its own Pickware id. When your integration also talks to Shopify, read the Shopify ID of a record to find the matching Shopify object, for example to open the Shopify order behind a fulfillment order, or to update a product variant in Shopify.
Shopify IDs are global IDs in the format Shopify's Admin GraphQL API uses, e.g. gid://shopify/Order/5123. The number at the end is the ID Shopify's REST API and admin URLs use.
| Type | Field | Shopify object |
|---|---|---|
Order | shopifyId | Order |
OrderLineItem | shopifyId | LineItem |
Customer | shopifyId | Customer |
Product | shopifyVariants | Product and ProductVariant |
FulfillmentOrder | shopifyId | FulfillmentOrder |
FulfillmentOrderLineItem | shopifyId | FulfillmentOrderLineItem |
Fulfillment | shopifyId | Fulfillment |
shopifyId is null for a record that has no Shopify counterpart, e.g. an order line item for a discount. A product can be synced with more than one Shopify store, so Product.shopifyVariants is a list with one entry per store, and empty when the product is not synced at all.
Example: Shopify IDs of an order
query OrderInShopify($id: ID!) {
order(id: $id) {
shopifyId
lineItems(first: 50) {
edges {
node {
shopifyId
product {
shopifyVariants
}
}
}
}
fulfillmentOrders(first: 10) {
edges {
node {
shopifyId
}
}
}
}
}
