Product-supplier configurations

Use product-supplier configurations to maintain the purchasing metadata that connects a merchant's products with their suppliers.

Available operations

Maintained fields

The write inputs cover:

  • Supplier product number.
  • Minimum purchase quantity.
  • Purchase step size.
  • Delivery time in days.
  • Gross and net purchase price, in the currency of the supplier.

Purchase prices

A configuration has one purchase price, gross and net, in the currency of its supplier (currencyId on Supplier). Write it with purchasePriceGross and purchasePriceNet. On updateProductSupplierConfiguration an omitted side keeps its current value.

The configuration reads the price as purchasePrices, a list that holds at most the entry in the supplier's currency. The list is empty when the configuration has no price yet, and while a currency change of the supplier is running, since the prices are converted in the background.

Example: add a supplier assignment

mutation AddProductSupplierConfiguration($input: AddProductSupplierConfigurationInput!) {
addProductSupplierConfiguration(input: $input) {
id
supplierProductNumber
minPurchase
purchaseSteps
deliveryTimeDays
purchasePrices {
currencyId
gross
net
}
}
}
{
"input": {
"productId": "UHJvZHVjdDow...",
"supplierId": "U3VwcGxpZXI6MDE4...",
"supplierProductNumber": "SUP-4711",
"minPurchase": 12,
"purchaseSteps": 6,
"purchasePriceGross": 11.9,
"purchasePriceNet": 10.0
}
}

Supplier order line items reference these configurations, so integrations that create supplier orders usually need this use case first.
